Historically, Print media especially newspapers in Pakistan were considered as mature and objective in their business. Currently, the phenomenon of ‘popular and crispy style’ of editorials is being explored for enhancing the readership of newspapers. The perceptionswemakeinourmindsabouttheworldare mostly nanosecond-handrealitywhich sometimes createsdistortion inthe informationwe receive whetherit comes from mediaorany other channelof communication. Therefore, the roleofmedia in framing certain aspectsof political parties forthe target audienceshasbeen drastically enhanced inrecent decades. The present study has focused on the coverage of politicalparties in the lightof framing theory. The mainstream media covered these activities of the parties differentlyas some newspapers gave huge coverage while some othersgave moderate or low coverage.
